Not a great performance by the Red Stars this week, but they maintain their 6th place on the table (for now) and move into the last match of the season. But first, seven internationals on the team have been called up to their country’s teams for the international break!

The Chicago Red Stars may have dropped their 1st chance to clinch a playoff berth by losing 2-0 to Gotham FC. However, Washington Spirit winning 4-1 over Louisville did the job for Chicago! The Red Stars are in the playoffs!
LT & Liz spend a good portion of the episode reflecting on what this playoff berth means for the club, then they get into the loss to Gotham. They laugh, we reminisce, they celebrate the foundation laid for this new era of the Red Stars.

Not quite a complete performance by the Chicago Red Stars, but a win nonetheless!
Ally Schlegel is back! Cari Roccaro is playing Center Back and Julia Grosso is finally in the defensive midfield. Things are looking up if the club can grow on this performance.
Next up is San Diego in what would’ve been the Riot Fest match. Thankfully the team will comfortably take on the Wave in Bridgeview as originally scheduled. See you there!

On the Red Stars side, they’ve now lost 3 matches (regular season) in a row and LT and Liz are here to talk about what went wrong and what went right against Orlando.

We also dive into the Ballon d’Or nominations for Mallory Swanson and Alyssa Naeher, as well as the contract extension of Jenna Bike!
Alex Morgan retired over the weekend and obviously wasn’t a Red Star at ay point in her career, but we thought it was important to talk about her impact on the women’s soccer world.

Losing to Angel City right before the Red Stars take on the best club in the league is not ideal, but LT and Liz are here to discuss the positive takeaways from this match, as always!
Penelope Hocking was traded to Bay FC, we’ll show what this means for Chicago’s front line now and in the future, especially with her roster spot being filled by Moroccan International Rosella Ayane on a loan.
And Hannah Anderson signed a 3-year contract extension thru 2027. We’ll look at there impact in leadership and on-the-field development this season that lead to this signing.

We’re back! The Red Stars are back! Julia Grosso is here! We lost! Oh wait, that last one shouldn’t be part of the excitement.
Losing to Racing Louisville coming off the Olympic break and Summer Cup wasn’t ideal and came with some big problem areas to highlight, but there are positives on the way with Mal Swanson coming back, Julia Grosso arriving and getting acclimated, and Ludmila eventually arriving from Brazil!
LT and Liz have you covered this week with all the news, including Olympic Gold Medal discussion, coming back to the NWSL action, and the new historic CBA approved by the league and its players.
